The first six weeks

So far we've had the pleasure of spending almost an entire six weeks with our new baby girl.  Again, I apologize for the lapse in posts but I promise to try harder!  I wrote the previous post a week after coming home from the hospital and didn't get the chance to post until just now...who knew mommy-hood could be so time consuming?!  Kidding, of course.  I saw a quote the other day that said "motherhood: the hardest job you will ever love"...so true!  

Over the past month and a half it has been amazing getting to know our sweet girl.  We've already had our share of trials, but every day gets better and better.  I think Josh and I both feel that we fall more in love with Isabella every day.  Although some would look at her and just see a little helpless infant, we already see progress and a baby that is growing so quickly.  She is beginning to engage us more and smile here and there which is so fun to watch!  I can't wait to watch her little personality emerge but at the same time...I wish I could freeze time and keep her tiny forever.  Below are some pictures from her latest photo shoot with Ryan Hill.  Isn't she the cutest?!
