Spring Pics!

Happy Friday everyone!  So here are the Spring pictures I’ve been promising…if you haven’t seen them already then prepare yourself because they are CAYOOT (cute) J!

As of about two weeks ago Issie began rolling over and hasn’t stopped since.  She enjoys it even more than I think her Aunt Edith would a Disney theme park ride…just can’t get enough of it!  Of course we think Isabella is a genius because she began doing this a week before the average infant learns to roll over…we literally showed her how to do it once and she immediately got the hang of it!

Isabella had a WONDERFUL first Easter and loved opening all of her “Easter Bunny” gifts from her Kiki, Mimi, Aunt Taylor, Gamma, Grandpa & Robyn…she’s just a little bit spoiled!  We also enjoyed attending the wedding of her Grandpa (Kent) and Robyn via Skype…wish we could have been there in person but thank goodness for modern technology!

"Queen Isabella"

Happy Good Friday to everyone!  Today is an especially good Friday for little miss Isabella because it is her first full day home alone with her daddy!  Yep, I am at work and Josh has the day off (Nina’s daycare is closed) so they are having a little daddy/daughter bonding time.  For those of you attending church today…you may want to include him in your prayers J.  Although Josh is an AMAZINGLY active parent, he was a little apprehensive about being left alone as parent-in-charge today. Anyways, I know they will be fine!

On a more somber note, this was a sad week for my family as we dealt with the passing of my grandmother, “Nana,” on Sunday, April 1st, 2012.  Although she was 96 and in deteriorating health for the past few years, it is never easy saying goodbye.  We all attended her memorial service on Tuesday and celebrated her amazing long life…it was certainly bittersweet.  Tony Dupree (the officiant at our wedding!) delivered a brief message in which he referenced Ecclesiastes 3 describing the cycle of life that God has designed for everyone.  Below is a picture that was taken just one week before Nana’s passing and is such a beautiful visual representation of this.  As soon as I saw it I knew it was so special and even more so now, knowing it was the last picture we would ever have of Nana (that is "Queen Isabella" as Nana always referred to Issie as in the picture in case you can’t tell).

This Easter will be even more special knowing that there is another person in heaven we can look forward to seeing because of what Jesus has done for us! And of course I will post pics soon of Issie in her Easter outfit as well as some from her latest Spring photo shoot with Ryan Hill.  Oh..and the new house which we LOVE! XO
